An excellent Insurance organisation in Central London are currently looking for a Data Governance Lead to join the team on an initial 6-month contract basis. The position will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices, both at department and Business and Functional level.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Establish and govern a enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities.
Roll out an enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organisation behaviour policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture.
Experience in rolling out data governance initiatives and data quality projects
Skills & Experience Required:
Exposure in Data Governance Lead role for at least 5 years.
Experience with Blue chip tooling (i.e. DQPro, Ataccama, Collibra, Informatica or similar)
Must have previous managerial experience.
