An insurer with a global presence in London is seeking for a Data Quality and Governance analyst on a permanent basis. Data plays a vital role in their operational, strategic and regulated activities. They are seeking to manage their data effectively to guarantee quality, generate insights, and enable informed decision-making across the Syndicate. 

As a Data Governance Analyst, your responsibility will be implementing the data governance framework, monitor all data governance efforts across the company, and ensure the improvement and security of crucial data and information assets.

This role entails establishing and upholding a comprehensive data governance framework that incorporates data rules, guidelines, and procedures for both departments and business/functional areas to attain uniformity, quality, and security that aligns with the company's objectives and regulatory obligations.

The following skills are essential for success in this position:

  • Proven experience in the Data Governance/Quality domain
  • Exposure in Governance Analyst role for 2 years+
  • Experience working in a Syndicate environment at Lloyds market, preferably 3 years or more
  • Experience in creating Data Quality reporting processes and providing MI support
  • Understanding of the essential metrics and reporting KPI's required for measurement and reporting
  • Hands-on experience in creating the necessary templates, roles, responsibilities, and processes that comprise a data governance toolkit/framework
