Our client a global reinsurer operating on both Lloyd’s and Company platforms are seeking to recruit a Delegated Authority Analyst to join their experienced Delegated Team.

The company are expecting growth in their delegated business on their Company platform and you support the growth of more complex delegated arrangements through supporting MGA onboarding and annual due diligence. 

The delegated team are involved at the early stages of the onboarding of new MGA binder arrangements and work closely with underwriting teams based in both London and Paris. As the Delegated Authority Analyst, you will gain exposure to both teams and increase your experience with the early stages of onboarding complex MGA binders.

You will work closely with a highly experience Head of and a Delegated Authority Manager and with this being a smaller delegated authorities team you will have exposure to each step of the process.
Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the review of delegated authority contracts both at onboarding and renewal stage
  • Partnering with the DA Manager to deliver on the coverholder audit programme annually
  • Producing internal reporting and presentations to assess binder performance
  • Optimising DA procedures to maintain and increase efficiency
  • Utilising data and analytics to design and implement reporting for both internal and external stakeholders

The right person for the job will have experience in either:

  • Onboarding new coverholders and renewal due diligence or
  • Overseeing and co-ordinating coverholder audits

As the DA Analyst you’ll be responsible for communicating and liaising with internal stakeholders, a lot of this relationship will be built through data analytics and the reporting insights you can offer.
