We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading global insurer to support the hire of a Delegated Claims Manager. 

You will be joining at an exciting time of growth and investment across the whole delegated piece and be part of a project to review processes, leading from a delegated claims perspective to reach a new target operating model.

Reporting directly to the Head of Claims Operations, working with a highly collaborative team and being empowered to work autonomously to lead and develop the delegated claims team.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Oversee the onboarding and management of new and existing claims delegated authority
  • Develop, sign off, and maintain claims delegated authority agreements
  • Continuously monitor, report, and audit claims delegated authority processes
  • Attend and contribute to the Product Oversight Group and the Delegated Underwriting Group
  • Manage claims DA loss funds

To be consider for this position you will have;

  • In-depth knowledge of claims delegated authorities
  • A solid understanding of insurance principles and legal frameworks
  • Familiarity with FCA rules, Lloyd’s regulations, and market strategies
  • A strong grasp of Conduct Risk and Solvency II requirements
