Delegated Underwriting Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a leading Lloyd’s syndicate as a Delegated Underwriting Analyst.

You will be part of a wider delegated authorities team and work closely with the Delegated Authority Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting due diligence of third party Coverholders and conducting reviews of binding authorities and lineslips.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Coverholder Due Diligence; reviewing relevant documentation, e.g. annual compliance, financial crime and trading licences, etc.
• Liaising with Underwriters, Brokers and other stakeholders to ensure due diligence and reviews are carried out in line with company timelines and feedback is dealt with as required
• Providing support to the Delegated Authorities Manager with the adoption of Internal Audit recommendations and regulatory changes

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate knowledge of Lloyd’s delegated authority systems; including Atlas and DCOM and Lloyd’s market practices specific to delegated underwriting. With a willingness and desire to continue developing their knowledge.
