A leading global specialty insurer are hiring within their Delegated Underwriting team, who are strongly embedded within the underwriting teams.
You will be conducting pre and post bind contract checks for both lead and follow business, covering master policies, lineslips and consortiums. While also overseeing their ongoing due diligence and keeping annual compliance updated.
Where the Company writes direct business you will be drafting both contracts and endorsements when required.
You will act as a key contact to underwriters on delegated authority matters, providing technical advice, coverholder approvals and general query support, so being confident dealing with stakeholders will be really important.
It is essential you have some exposure to delegated authority business, whether within a Delegated Underwriting, Delegated Claims or Bordereaux Management team, with a high level of attention to detail.
You must have a proactive and flexible approach, who enjoys working within a collaborative team.
