We are delighted to be working with a niche UK insurer currently undergoing an exciting period of development within Risk. This follows the appointment of a new CRO who plans to implement fresh ideas including the division of the risk team into its 3 verticals (operational risk, financial risk and ERM).
As ERM Manager, you will work alongside the head of ERM to ensure risk framework is robust and properly employed across the business, including for emerging risk and stress and scenario frameworks. Also falling under the scope of this role will be the development of risk MI through data analytics, as well as taking the lead on ORSA reporting.
You will frequently be engaging with the CRO and Head of EM - arguably two of the strongest individuals in the market within this field. They have worked together to create an environment which allows the constant growth and development of individuals throughout the team and the opportunity to take accountability for each area of specialism.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong background in enterprise risk management within financial services, and possess knowledge of the insurance industry as well as awareness of emerging risks.
