Business Analyst (Finance Change team) – £70,000 DOE
We are excited to partner with a leading insurer seeking to hire a Business Analyst on a permanent basis, offering up to £70,000 depending on experience. This is an exceptional opportunity, reporting directly to the Head of UK Reporting.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in documenting current Finance & Treasury processes, while understanding and detailing the impact of system enhancements and changes on the broader Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key team member to design and implement end-to-end Finance process solutions that enhance standardization, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and accounting standards.
  • Lead process walkthroughs to ensure clear business understanding and facilitate adoption of solutions.
  • Drive global process standardisation and provide advice when deviations from standard practices are required.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify risks and create mitigation strategies.
  • Support the development and automation of technical solutions for finance processes.
  • Facilitate the implementation of end-to-end processes, analyzing change impact and tracking readiness throughout.
  • Contribute to the development and review of testing and training materials.
  • Partner with change management to ensure consistency and clarity in communication.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • 3-7 years of business analyst experience, with expertise in accounting and finance best practices.
  • Previous involvement in finance transformation projects.
  • Experience within the P&C insurance or reinsurance industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to confidently engage with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently or within a high-performing team.
  • Experience in matrix management environments.

Location & Working Arrangements:

  • Location: London (City)
  • Hybrid: 3 days per week in-office.
