I am currently partnering with a reinsurance company that is looking to bring in two Finance Business Analysts to support their growth projects. This is a 6-month day-rate contract (with a view to extend) and is INSIDE IR35.
 
As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in enhancing financial processes and ensuring seamless collaboration between finance teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technology partners. This hands-on role focuses on process optimisation, automation, and ensuring financial systems operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with finance teams, SMEs, and third-party vendors to refine and enhance financial processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Lead end-to-end process improvements, leveraging best-practice methodologies and workflow optimisation techniques.
  • Capture and document finance-related processes to facilitate knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Assess and recommend finance technology solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and align with business objectives.
  • Drive process implementation, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

Key Requirements

  • Must have experience in the insurance industry, preferably within reinsurance.
  • Proven track record in finance business analysis within insurance, financial services, or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of finance systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in process optimisation, automation, and workflow design.
  • Ability to work in a high-change environment, managing multiple priorities with a solution-focused approach.
  • Workday experience is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and drive actionable insights.
