A leading London Insurer requires a Finance Operations Manager to join them during a period of significant growth. The role will require strong Financial Reporting experience, knowledge of managing complex systems and an ACA/ACCA/CiMA accounting qualification with experience of working within an Insurance firm.
The successful candidate will be highly engaging, with strong systems management and improvement skills and a passion for utilizing data and technology to create a better, more robust financial environment whilst maximizing opportunities for automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure controls for month-end financial and regulatory reporting are accurate
Management of internal and external operational resource
Act as Finance Business Partner and first point of contact for the Group operations function
Utilise data analysis in a succinct and clear way, presenting detailed information to internal stakeholders
Manage, coach and upskill team members throughout high-profile transformation
First rate interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to develop relationships at the most senior levels
Solid track record of Financial Reporting/Syndicate Accounting within an Insurance firm
Able to understand, analyse, and manipulate large amounts of financial data
Exceptional systems skills, such as advanced Excel, understanding of Power BI etc.
