A leading London Insurer requires a Finance Operations Manager to join them during a period of significant growth. The role will require strong Financial Reporting experience, knowledge of managing complex systems and an ACA/ACCA/CiMA accounting qualification with experience of working within an Insurance firm.
The successful candidate will be highly engaging, with strong systems management and improvement skills and a passion for utilizing data and technology to create a better, more robust financial environment whilst maximizing opportunities for automation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure controls for month-end financial and regulatory reporting are accurate
  • Management of internal and external operational resource
  • Act as Finance Business Partner and first point of contact for the Group operations function
  • Utilise data analysis in a succinct and clear way, presenting detailed information to internal stakeholders
  • Manage, coach and upskill team members throughout high-profile transformation

Experience Required:

  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CiMA)
  • First rate interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to develop relationships at the most senior levels
  • Solid track record of Financial Reporting/Syndicate Accounting within an Insurance firm
  • Able to understand, analyse, and manipulate large amounts of financial data
  • Exceptional systems skills, such as advanced Excel, understanding of Power BI etc.
