Finance Transformation Accountant

Arthur Recruitment have partnered with a growing insurer to support with their search for an experienced Finance Transformation Accountant to join for an initial 6-month contract. This is an important role, as the business are in a sustained period of growth, and they need someone with strong background in implementing finance transformation programs within the insurance sector. The successful candidate will be required for a minimum of 6-months and will be based in the office on a hybrid working pattern (2 days per week). 

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the design, creation, and implementation of a new finance target operating model across the group. 
• Document the TOM. 
• Design financial processes, controls, and procedures. 
• Lead sourcing of appropriate financial systems. 
• Help design training programs and deliver training for staff. 
• Investigate current financial systems of target brokers being acquired and design and run integration into wider TOM.

Skills & Experience 

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Prior experience in implementing finance transformation program. 
• Strong systems skills.
• Degree educated or equivalent.
