Job Title: Compliance Officer
Location: London
Salary: £65,000 per annum, plus benefits

I am pleased to be representing a leading insurance firm, currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join their team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all relevant regulations and standards in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular compliance assessments to identify areas of risk and implementing measures to mitigate these risks.
  • Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, and ensuring that they are up-to-date and in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conducting regular training sessions for staff to ensure that they are aware of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and reporting on compliance issues and incidents, and implementing corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations that may affect the company, and advising senior management accordingly.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that compliance is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities and reporting to senior management.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a compliance role in the insurance industry.
  • Experience with licensing, sanctions and financial crime
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
