A global re/insurer is seeking an experienced non-life insurance professional to be an integral part of their underwriting operation.
Working with the Group Head of Portfolio Management, this position will take a leading role in providing insight and analysis to senior management to increase underwriting profitability.
Work will be both on a group basis covering all lines of business in both insurance and reinsurance lines and you will develop strong relationships with a number of teams and have direct contact with senior management. All of this makes it a very broad role with extensive exposure to the whole business.
The ideal candidate will be analytical and have a varied background to enable them to deep dive into the portfolios and provide meaningful insight into the ongoing performance and strategy. This role will be well suited to someone from a risk carrier or broker with international reach.
This role is based in London but some travel will be required.
