Graduate Catastrophe Analyst

We have partnered with a speciality lines re-insurer who are excited to announce a new opportunity to join their highly successful Exposure Management Team.
 
As a Graduate analyst, you will assist the team in producing exposure risk metrics and information for classes of business assigned to you. 
 
Key Tasks:

• Record exposure management information
• Provide modelling analysis to support risk pricing
• Ensure accurate data and all data is captured correctly
• Validate results used for syndicate reporting.
• Communicate risk metrics to key stakeholders.
• Investigate aggregations, monitor movements and help the team understand changes in risk or concentrations of risk.
• Assist in improving the accessibility of exposure information.

Requirements:

• Recent Graduate
• Good numerical skills
• Desirable: Programming skills
• A general interest in catastrophe risk, geography and natural sciences.
