Graduate Catastrophe Modelling Analyst

Arthur have partnered with a new fast growing Tech based Insurer on the search for a Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to join their London team. 

In this role you will be an integral part of the modelling team in which you will focus on the property lines of business, looking at new technologies to improve the function. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Managing exposure data.
• Provide relevant pricing, roll-up and analytics information to stakeholders. 
• Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implementing new technologies within the modelling function. 
• Streamlining existing processes and introducing new ones to improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have: 

• A degree in Natural Sciences, Geography, Mathematics or a similar discipline 
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and a solid understanding of cat and exposure management 
• Strong technical skills e.g. Excel, VBA, Python, R, ArcGIS
