Graduate: Economic Capital Analyst

Economic Capital Analyst: £30,000 - £35,000

Arthur Financial are seeking a graduate to join the economic capital team of a well-established insurer.

The ideal applicant would be a graduate with a Masters in an analytical degree or a bachelors with 6-12 months of experience in a relevant field.

This is a non-actuarial role where you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of capital, risk and analytics in a highly respected, progressive, and forward-thinking environment, with regular exposure to senior colleagues.
 
Responsibilities:

• Operate the company’s internal develop economic capital model
• Support model validation, auditing and future model development
• Build effective working relationships with co-workers in the Actuarial and Risk and Finance teams.
• Ability to simply complex topics and communicate findings to colleagues and senior stakeholders.

 
From you they are looking:

• A Bachelors or Masters in a numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python is desirable.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
