A highly regarded specialist insurance brokerage is seeking an ambitious Graduate M&A Insurance Broker to join their growing team. This firm provides bespoke insurance solutions for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, working closely with private equity firms, corporate clients, and legal advisors to manage transaction-related risks.

The RoleAs a Graduate M&A Insurance Broker, you will play a key role in supporting the structuring and placement of Transactional Risk Insurance solutions, including Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) Insurance, Tax Liability Insurance, and Contingent Risk Insurance. Working alongside experienced brokers, you will gain hands-on exposure to high-value M&A deals and develop a deep understanding of transactional risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and legal due diligence to assess M&A risks and insurance needs.
• Support senior brokers in structuring and negotiating tailored insurance solutions for transactions.
• Engage with corporate clients, private equity firms, and legal advisors to understand deal-specific requirements.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and policy documentation.
• Monitor market trends and build relationships with insurers to ensure competitive coverage options.
• Stay up to date with developments in M&A, corporate law, and insurance markets.

Candidate ProfileEssential Skills & Experience

• Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Law, Economics, Business).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in corporate transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in a client-facing role.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand complex deal structures.

• Previous internship or work experience in insurance, finance, law, or M&A is advantageous.
