A leading tech focused insurer are looking to hire a analytical graduate to join their growing pricing team. This team is responsible for modelling data based on demographics, driving behaviour, insurance claims and enrichment data to determine the premiums that they charge. This is an exciting and dynamic environment where we respond to new information swiftly with technical analysis and real-time pricing changes.
It is a unique opportunity as you will be applying a combination of traditional techniques and machine learning to contribute to the development of their pricing and optimisation models. In addition, you will also be involved in conducting analysis to identify new commercial opportunities in this rapidly expanding business. Technical skills are critical, and the ideal candidate should be comfortable with statistical theory and have some experience in Excel.
Based near Birmingham and you will be required to be in the office a minimum of 1 day pw.
A strong academic and mathematical background is essential (2:1 or above).
