Job Title: Group Compliance Analyst Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Location: City of London/Hybrid Overall Objective of Role: To provide proactive and professional regulatory compliance assistance and support across the Group. Main Responsibilities:
Ongoing regulatory compliance support, reporting and coordination:
Provide ongoing advice and support on regulatory matters to the Group Risk & Compliance Director, Group Compliance Manager and the other Compliance Officers in the Group as required.
Support the Group Risk & Compliance Director on regulatory returns and other reporting for the entities in the Group where he/she is the appointed Compliance Officer.
Provide support, as required, to other Compliance Officers in the Group on regulatory returns and other reporting.
Provide licencing, KYC and sanctions guidance and advice to the Group’s businesses and departments.
Support the Group Risk & Compliance Director and Group Compliance Manager in the maintenance and administration of the Group’s Regulatory Forum.
Maintain the Group’s Compliance Manual and associated documentation on a regular basis.
Contribute to the development of the Group’s regulatory training courses.
Responding to new regulatory requirements:
Review and dissemination of new regulatory publications (e.g., consultation papers, business plan) from the FCA and PRA in order to identify changes to the regulatory environment of the Group and its businesses.
Support the Group Risk & Compliance Director and Group Compliance Manager in coordinating the Group’s response to new or changed regulation.
Compliance monitoring:
Support the Group Compliance Manager in the development, delivery, and reporting of the Group’s compliance monitoring programme.
Deliver reviews in line with the Group’s agreed compliance monitoring programme.
Support the delivery of third-party reviews by external partners of the Group’s businesses.
Person Specification:
Strong compliance administration experience whilst working within a regulated environment.
General understanding of sanctions and financial crime regimes.
General understanding of the principles of the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority regulations and rule books.
Lloyd’s market experience would be beneficial.
Well organised with a confident and adaptable nature.
