Group Reporting Manager | 12-months FTC | £90,000-£95,000 | London/Hybrid (3 days P/Q)

Arthur Financial have partnered with a leading (re)insurance business to support with their search for a Group Reporting Manager who will report to and operate under the Head of Financial Reporting for the group. This person will co-ordinate the group financial consolidation process and prepare external financial reporting on an IFRS basis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain quarterly group close timetables and year-end & half-end GAAP reporting timetables
  • Manage inter-office reporting and consolidation process across the group
  • Perform detailed analytical review of actuals against prior year and forecast
  • Prepare group consolidated financial statements and note disclosures
  • Prepare BMA regulatory reports
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of WDESK reporting tool
  • Maintain general ledger financial systems
  • Support external auditors, ensuring timely & efficient completion of annual audits
  • Support the Head of Finance Projects to develop increased efficiencies for group reporting processes and drive change & improvements

Skills & Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant with 5 years post qualification experience
  • Insurance / reinsurance industry experience
  • Detailed knowledge of preparing IFRS financial statements for re/insurance entities
  • Experience with Great Plains general ledger and WDESK (desirable)
  • Experience in a multi-currency/jurisdiction environment
