Group Reporting Manager | 12-months FTC | £90,000-£95,000 | London/Hybrid (3 days P/Q)
Arthur Financial have partnered with a leading (re)insurance business to support with their search for a Group Reporting Manager who will report to and operate under the Head of Financial Reporting for the group. This person will co-ordinate the group financial consolidation process and prepare external financial reporting on an IFRS basis.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain quarterly group close timetables and year-end & half-end GAAP reporting timetables
Manage inter-office reporting and consolidation process across the group
Perform detailed analytical review of actuals against prior year and forecast
Prepare group consolidated financial statements and note disclosures
Prepare BMA regulatory reports
Develop knowledge and understanding of WDESK reporting tool
Maintain general ledger financial systems
Support external auditors, ensuring timely & efficient completion of annual audits
Support the Head of Finance Projects to develop increased efficiencies for group reporting processes and drive change & improvements
Skills & Requirements
Qualified Accountant with 5 years post qualification experience
Insurance / reinsurance industry experience
Detailed knowledge of preparing IFRS financial statements for re/insurance entities
Experience with Great Plains general ledger and WDESK (desirable)
Experience in a multi-currency/jurisdiction environment
