An experienced senior actuary is sought to lead on actuarial oversight, with a focus on the pricing department, for this exciting insurance business.
The role will concentrate on implementing, overseeing and delivering robust pricing processes. This includes taking ownership of projects such as the model building pipeline, owning pricing frameworks, delivering on pricing governance, ensuring compliance and setting pricing strategy.
You will lead a team of portfolio managers who are line of business focused in support of these objectives as well as drawing upon wider resource across the organization. You will promote excellence in the areas of pricing, portfolio management and profitability. This will include holding senior level stakeholder relationships across actuarial, underwriting, reinsurance and others.
Ideally you will have worked in a senior role, leading qualified actuaries and have some experience of governance and operations work. However, this could be across pricing, reserving or capital. Experience in a mixed role in the past, such as a chief actuary, head of, or similar, could be beneficial. This is an opportunity to deliver best practice, bringing all of your previous experience to the fore.
