We are working with a global re/insurer who are looking for an actuary with IFRS17 experience to join their team in Leeds. The role will have a primary focus on IFRS17 with the rest being made up with project work such as business planning and reinsurance reviews. Due to where this position sits in the department, it will be very visible and have exposure to senior stakeholders and multiple aspects of the business.
The ideal candidate will have prior IFRS17 experience in general insurance, but they are open to speaking with those from a life background looking to move into GI. Additionally, you will be a nearly or newly qualified actuary with prior experience working with stakeholders.
This position is based in Leeds and would require someone to go into the office 3 days a week so being able to commute is necessary.
