We are working closely with an investment manager currently seeking a motivated ILS Analyst to join their London team. As an ILS Analyst, you will work closely with the New York and Bermuda teams to provide analytical support for underwriting, portfolio management and investor relations. You will also be responsible for analyzing catastrophe risk and providing innovative solutions to improve current risk modeling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide analytical support to underwriters, traders, and portfolio managers
Analyze and model catastrophe reinsurance and retrocession opportunities, capital market transactions, and other risk-transfer products
Extract, manipulate and visualize data using third party vendor models and proprietary tools
Maintain and analyze data sources to manage portfolio risk exposures, track real-time event losses, and produce investor reports
Contribute to the development of proprietary analytical tools
