We are working exclusively with an investment manager currently seeking a motivated ILS Analyst to join their London team. As an ILS Analyst, you will work closely with the New York and Bermuda teams to provide analytical support for underwriting, portfolio management and investor relations. You will also be responsible for analysing catastrophe risk and providing innovative solutions to improve current risk modelling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide analytical support to underwriters, traders, and portfolio managers
Analyse and model catastrophe reinsurance and retro-cession opportunities, capital market transactions, and other risk-transfer products
Extract, manipulate and visualise data using third party vendor models and proprietary tools
Maintain and analyse data sources to manage portfolio risk exposures, track real-time event losses, and produce investor reports
Contribute to the development of proprietary analytical tools
