Infrastructure Engineer

A London Market Insurer are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team to work on a range of upcoming projects.

This Infrastructure Engineer will be working as part of a team to improve the performance and capacity of services, storage and backup solutions within the data centres and cloud solutions using a range of modern technologies and tools.

Essential skills for the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Good experience with Powershell
• Familiar with virtualisation tools such as VMware
• Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure
• Knowledge of disaster recovery solutions such as Azure Sire Recovery or Cloud Endure
• Server hardening skills using SCCM
• Familiar with the likes of AD/ADD, Windows Terminal Server, etc

Desirable skills for the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Experience with Linux
• Ansible for Configuration Management
• Knowledge of IaC with the likes of Terraform or Puppet

Rate: £550 - £600 P/D Outside IR35
Location: Central London, Hybrid, EC3 Postcode
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
