Infrastructure Security Engineer – London - £90,000 - £95,000 – Hybrid - Firewall security, AWS and Azure, EDR, Zero Day Malware, Microsoft, Linux, VMWare ESX, vSphere, Data Security, Encryption

Purpose of the Role To Support to IT Infrastructure for the business.

  • Assist in support of all infrastructure systems.
  • Primarily manage and support all securitysystems, configuration, security analysis reporting.
  • Drive company security policies.
  • Conduct and manage the company IT security penetration test
  • Own any tickets, compliance and security checks of IT systems.
  • Identify any infrastructure and security related risks and escalate appropriately.

Technical skills

  • Firewall security and policies, EDR, Zero Day Malware, Network Analysis and Pen testing management and remediation.
  • Secure Network configuration - Firewall, Router Management, etc.
  • EDR
  • General Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation
  • Data Security and Encryption
  • Pen Testing, Analysis and Remediation
  • Security Skills Assessment and Training
  • Security Reporting and Review
  • Strong communications skill with tech and nontechnical audiences. Ability to work independently, take ownership of work and responsibility for actions Administration and Compliance

Required Knowledge, Skills

  • Excellent understanding of firewalls, security related products such as EDR, analysis tools, network analysis tools, pen testing and security analysis methods.
  • A good IT knowledge across Microsoft and Linux environments.
  • VMWare ESX and vSphere knowledge with an understanding of Cloud deployments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Security of Endpoints (desktop/laptop, mobile, BYOD)
  • Identity & Access Management (SSO, 2FA, Privileged Access, Remote Access)
  • Desired AWS and Azure security and configuration
  • Good understand of security concepts related to networking.
