Arthur are delighted to have partnered with a leading insurer who are looking for a Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Analyst to support the 2nd line assurance team on a interim basis.

As a 2nd Line Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing independent assurance over the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls through thematic-style reviews and control validations. You will work closely with business owners and other stakeholders to understand and assess risks, design and execute test plans, and report on findings. They may also be responsible for aspects of our team’s ongoing compliance monitoring work. This position requires 2-3 years of experience working in financial services, focused on regulations and best practices, as well as experience in performing thematic reviews (audits), ongoing compliance monitoring, and control validations.

Key requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience of working in an assurance related role (e.g., internal/external audit, or compliance).
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry (ideally insurance) and its regulatory environment in the UK and Europe, US also preferable.
