Arthur have partnered with a boutique equities investment manager who are continuing to go through a period of growth.
The client is looking to appoint a senior investment risk manager on an interim basis.
Reporting directly into the COO you will take on responsibility for the current investment risk team and drive forward key projects across the investment risk and analytics function, including new systems and implementation of new processes.
Key objectives and deliverables will be to manage the day-to-day analysis of the Risk function including daily VAR reports, drift analysis and liquidity tracking of portfolios.
You will assist the portfolio managers and analysts with analysis of their portfolio analytics, including the development of quantitative monitoring processes covering positions sizes.
This is very much a hands on risk management role with the support of a small team.
It is expected that the succesful candidate will have 8+ years investment risk experience with strong equities knowledge.
Experience in system selection/implemention would be useful but not essential.
This role is being offered on an inital 6 months interim basis OUTSIDE IR35
