We are exclusively retained on multiple FP&A roles for one of the most exciting Insurance businesses in the London Market. Amongst other opportunities, they are seeking an International Expense professional to play a pivotal role in supporting their ambitious expansion plans. Reporting to the International FP&A Expense Manager, you'll be instrumental in managing international cost centers, analyzing expense data, and enhancing their expense reporting capabilities to drive better business decisions. If you are an FP&A professional with Insurance experience, have a keen eye for detail, a knack for financial analysis, and a passion for driving efficiency, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cost center owners to set annual expense budgets and manage associated staff costs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and manage capital expenditure and depreciation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate expense accruals during the close process.
  • Produce monthly variance analysis and KPI monitoring against plan for cost center owners and business leaders.
  • Develop commentary and expense management information for management review.
  • Scrutinize expense ledger for comprehensive accounting.
  • Assist in developing robust expense modeling and reporting frameworks, including Anaplan enhancements.
  • Support business decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including international leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with international and regional teams to ensure accurate expense allocations.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in expense planning and analytics, within insurance.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
