Join my client, an esteemed global insurance firm as a Senior Multilingual Wordings Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the innovative solutions for specialty risks. As a key member of the Specialty Risks division, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your exceptional language skills and legal expertise to draft compelling policy wordings and endorsements.
Responsibilities:
Wordings:
Utilize your exceptional drafting skills to create policy wordings and endorsements that align with the business and underwriting objectives of the Digital Transformation and Specialty Risks teams.
Collaborate with focus groups to address coverage issues encountered during the underwriting and negotiation process, ensuring successful closure of business opportunities.
Assist focus groups in achieving their sales and service goals by promptly responding to queries with high-quality support and advice.
Provide guidance on underwriting, product development, and coverage matters, showcasing your expertise in the field.
If qualified, review confidentiality agreements, warranty statements, and other legal documents to facilitate the underwriting process for our international Digital Transformation and Specialty Risks teams.
Work closely with underwriters to address bespoke coverage requests, requiring effective communication with brokers, insured parties, and external stakeholders such as external counsel.
Support the trading team in establishing efficient knowledge management and sharing processes.
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including Compliance, Claims, Conduct Risk, Underwriting Controls and Operations, Digital Transformation, Specialty Risks, Marketing, and IT, to coordinate projects and ensure smooth operations.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes to continuously enhance our wordings and underwriting controls.
Actively participate in business planning sessions, focus group meetings, broker/client interactions, and marketing events as required.
Key Relationships: Collaborates with Business Management, Digital Transformation Team, Specialty Risks Underwriters, Compliance Department, Innovation and Product Development Team, and other relevant stakeholders.
Person Specification:
A law degree is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
Language skills is preferrd.
Previous experience handling Wordings.
