IT Risk and Controls Analyst

We have had the opportunity to partner with a global leader within the insurance market who is a main player in the market. This role would be working in the Risk and Compliance Team performing the function of IT Risk and Compliance at an Analyst Level. The position offers direct assistance to the Risk & Compliance Manager, who is accountable for facilitating the risk management and reporting needs of the first line IT risk teams, overseeing GRC monitoring and support, and ensuring assurance activities.  In this role, you will provide direct support to the Risk & Compliance Manager, assisting with risk management, compliance, and assurance activities. You will collaborate with various teams in ABS, primarily the risk functions, and key stakeholders in the entities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in implementing, enhancing, and administering IT risk & general controls.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, SOC, ITIL, ISO*, CIS, NIST).
• Minimum 3 years of current IT General Control (ITGC) experience.
• Familiarity with risk analysis, control assessments, and operational risk management.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Operational risk knowledge with the ability to evaluate, measure, mitigate, and report risks.
• Experience with risk analysis and maintaining risk & control registers.
