Junior Reinsurance Technician - SCHOOL LEAVERS WANTED

A Lloyd's syndicate is growing their outwards reinsurance team with the hire of a trainee who will ideally be an A Level school leaver keen to begin their career in the insurance market. Candidates who are working in the regional insurance market will also be considered providing they have a desire to work in the City of London.  

My client is seeking a numerical candidates so you must have at least a B grade in Mathematics GCSE to be considered. This team is hard working, highly knowledgable and willing to train you in all things reinsurance. 

Key Responsibilities
 

• Assist and work with all members of the Reinsurance Operations Team on most reinsurance contracts post placement
• Assist with entering and updating contract details in Subscribe, Senator and XLRAS
• Assist with Technicians to ensure premium payments are paid effectively and on time
• Assist with identifying and accounting for recoverable claims
• Liaising with Underwriters, Reserving, Finance and Claims departments
• Calculating and monitoring aged debt
• LORS and USM processing
• Assist on special projects as requested by RI Operations Manager
