Arthur Recruitment have partnered with a high-growth MGA to support with their search for a M&A Integration Accountant. This person will be responsible for supporting the post-merger integration ensuring the entities are aligned to group reporting requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in integration's, managing stakeholder relationships and efficiently putting a routine processes in place for smooth delivery.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the finalisation of completion account and true-up payments
Aligning target to group reporting
Implement process of data capture for Group KPIs
Support with year 1 budget set up/bridging to investment case
Lead the finalisation of completion account and true-up payments
Review of target’s existing finance operation and proposing a detailed integration plan covering areas such as accounts payable, professional advisor relationship, system integration and other areas
Liaise with internal teams to align financial and operational objectives
Track deal performance and identify areas for improvement
Skills & Experience
M&A / Transactional experience from a top public accountancy practice (Big 4 ideally)
5+ years post qualified accounting experience
Insurance experience is highly desirable
This role will require occasional travel between offices, as well as attending events and meetings when required.
