We have been engaged on a new Research Manager vacancy within the London market working for a leading Insurer & Re-insurer.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the research agenda on topics related to climate change and identifying emerging risks. The successful candidate will join a group level team delivering on view of risk and developing an all new research strategy to be utilised across the function.
This role involves leading efforts to identify emerging natural catastrophe (Nat Cat) risks, developing strategies to manage these accumulations, and ensuring the company remains within its catastrophe risk appetite. This includes representing the business at industry events, engaging with regulators to shape future requirements, and presenting the company's risk view to potential investors and analysts. The role also entails proposing research agendas, building strong stakeholder relationships, defining priorities for risk analysis, and providing thought leadership on climate change-related topics.
