An opportunity to join a well known insurance Broker operating within the Lloyd's of London market. 

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Operational Resilience Manager will own everything Operational Resilience and Business Continuity as defined by the FCA.

You do not need to be an Operational Resilience expert, this is an opportunity to learn and expand your exisiting knowledge and experience!

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain awareness of OR legislation
  • Identify potential divergences between the company's OR Policy and OR legislation to ensure alignment
  • Manage the company's library of OR related documents, including policy, procedures, self-assessments, and governance
  • Conduct periodic reviews of OR related documents and ensures they are up to date
  • Communicate changes to OR related documents to relevant parties for training and awareness
  • Review actual incidents to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Follow escalation procedures to review and approve appropriate mitigation's and coordinates mitigating actions
  • Coordinates lessons learned exercises

Required Skills: 

  • Prior experience in a regulated financial services environment, with knowledge of Lloyd's, London, and International insurance market being ideal but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability in implementing change / new processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Facilitation skills such as leading meetings and workshops
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with mainstream project management tools such as MS Project.
  • A desire to learn and become an Ops Resilience expert
