Underwriting Operations Analyst 
Leading Lloyd's Syndicate, City of London

Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Hybrid Working

Salary: Up to £43,000 + Benefits + Bonus 

This role is ideal for someone that is looking for their 2nd job in insurance and someone that is enthusiastic about working in operations. 

Arthur is delighted to have partnered with a Leading Lloyd's Syndicate, in this role you will join the Operations Department and support the Senior Operations Manager in delivering operational excellence.

As an Underwriting Analyst - Operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the robust controls and processes. You will be responsible for supporting the preparation of the Syndicate Business Forecast (SBF) and completing internal and external non-financial reports for various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning: Assist in the preparation of the Syndicate Business Forecast (SBF) to Lloyd’s and work with Underwriters, Actuarial, Finance, and Outwards Reinsurance to help create a robust Business Plan.
  • Reporting: Complete internal and external non-financial reports to various stakeholders.
  • Data Control & Ownership: Ensure that the data entered into the Policy Admin System (PAS) is complete and accurate and ensure that there are effective controls and processes in place.
  • System Support: Be a focal point to Underwriting Teams for the support of the PAS System and external systems (including Xchanging and eplacement/etrading platforms).
  • Projects: Provide support within Operations.
