My client is a leading global insurer, they are recruiting for a Operations Assistant in the Global Transaction Solutions department. You will be part of an innovative and growing line of business. In this maternity cover role (12 months fixed term contract) based in London, you'll assist the Global Operations Manager and gain a comprehensive understanding of the M&A underwriting procedures and processes.
About the Role:
Assist the Global Operations Manager in day-to-day operations and build relationships with stakeholders
Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the M&A underwriting procedures & systems
Use underwriting systems including Iris, Genius, and Lucid
Monitor underwriting reports and make necessary amendments
Manage the monthly bordereaux process and assist with credit control
Key Responsibilities:
Time Management and organizational skills
Ability to work with numerical data
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word & Excel)
Attention to detail
Familiarity with the insurance industry and experience using Iris & Genius (preferred)
Adherence to all regulatory and internal requirements
