Arthur is excited to collaborate with a prominent London Market insurer in the search for an Optimisation Consultant on a permanent basis, offering a competitive salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience.

About the Role: As an Optimisation Consultant, you will contribute to the enhancement of operating models in alignment with the organization's strategy  Your pivotal role involves fostering a culture of sustained change, implementing optimisation methodologies, and managing the supporting framework to instill an optimisation mindset throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing and proposed business processes, defining best practices and standards.
  • Lead or contribute to the definition and execution of optimisation initiatives, from identification through to embedding.
  • Collaborate with the Optimisation Consulting team to identify, report, and manage business impact and dependencies.
  • Stay informed about market processes and initiatives that may affect the company's operations.
  • Work with key stakeholders and the Optimisation Consulting team to build an environment supporting continuous enhancement and efficiency.
  • Provide optimisation coaching to business stakeholders, fostering cultural change.
  • Identify and implement service improvement activities using process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
  • Facilitate optimisation-based workshops to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Drive efficiency through the elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identify improved ways of working.
  • Establish an optimisation monitoring system by identifying trends and process variations.
  • Elicit requirements and drive process change using various methods such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop support materials based on revised processes, including training, reporting, and systems enhancements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the company's process library.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements, demonstrating compliance with Conduct Risk Policy and internal standards, including Senior Managers and Certification Regime Conduct Rules, Solvency II, fair treatment of customers, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, and Whistleblowing.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in defining and delivering complex optimisation initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in London Market/General Insurance business analysis, coupled with knowledge of CI/Lean methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of the relationships, dependencies, and impacts of change on multiple systems, teams, and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a large organization; multinational experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with formal change structures and disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Appreciation of various Change Management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
