Arthur are proud to be partnered with a diverse and developing Specialty Insurance Group on the appointment of an Outwards Reinsurance Operations Manager, paying up to £80,000. Their team is currently expanding rapidly and they are looking for somebody to oversee their reinsurance operations function.
The role will be very client facing and heavily project focused, offering strong exposure across a variety of reinsurance types, clients and classes.
Your Role
Effective management of Outwards Reinsurance team.
Effective project allocation and delegation of resources.
Timely and accurate management of claims recoveries processes.
Timely and accurate management of internal and external reporting and regulatory processes.
End to end system implementations.
Liaising with various functions underwriters, claims adjusters, brokers and finance.
Team recruitment, appraisals coaching and counsel.
Overall function process monitoring and improvement.
Ad-hoc Reinsurance related projects.
Your Skills, Experience And Qualifications
Understanding of full ceded reinsurance process from placement through to reporting.
Demonstrated experience working within a London Market Reinsurance team as a Senior Reinsurance Technician or Manager.
Experience of RI Business as usual and end to end system implementations to undertake project placements where necessary.
Strong IT skills.
Strong communication and team building ability.
