Outwards Reinsurance Technician

Arthur are proud to be partnered with a leading Lloyd's syndicate as they look to expand their Outwards Reinsurance Operations team. They are looking to add a Reinsurance Technician to sit within their Contract Management division and the role will focus on accurate management of a wide variety of reinsurance contracts throughout their life cycle, ensuring premium adjustments are accurately calculated and recorded whilst also having responsibility for regulatory reporting activities to ensure compliance with contractual terms an conditions. The team work incredibly closely with the purchasing function and you would benefit from increased exposure to the purchasing team's activity and strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Widespread collaboration with placement team to allow accurate and timely data capture of RI contracts after purchase.
• Complete the calculation and submission of the various regulatory returns produced within the team.
• Collaborate to ensure compliance with all internal controls within SLAs.
• Work with Finance and Purchasing Teams to calculate the premium adjustments.
• Liaise with key stakeholders such as the OWRI Placement team, Underwriting & Claims departments, brokers, and other Internal/external clients to resolve queries.
• Co-ordinate sample gathering for internal and external audits.

There will also be the introduction of a new reinsurance system, offering the opportunity to get involved in development work and ad hoc project work.

The team are keen to speak with anyone with strong reinsurance contract management experience. The ideal candidate will have reinsurance experience within ceded re team either within a company/syndicate markets or broker. Reinsurance Technician and Processing Technician experience will all be considered.
