An opportunity has arisen to lead Property and Casualty (P&C)Underwriting for this Middle East based insurer.
This will include ensuring development and adherence to guidelines and manuals, directing overall portfolio risk assessment, and underwriting automation activities, and assessing customer risk profiles to appropriately generate premiums.
Lines of business span property, energy and construction; alongside SME liability business.
This role is a technical underwriting position and would suit someone with strong experience in commercial lines underwriting and/or pricing and portfolio management. You will be responsible for the profitability and growth of this section of the business.
This is an opportunity to lead a sizeable underwriting function for a leading business in the Middle East region.
