Pricing Analyst

Pricing Actuarial Analyst: £45,000 - £70,000

Arthur have partnered with a highly respected general insurer to introduce a pricing analyst to their commercial pricing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining pricing models and produce pricing analysis.
The successful candidate will be a part qualified actuarial analyst who has experience in GI pricing. A candidate with Lloyd’s and/or London Market experience would be desirable. It would be benefitial if you had experience of using pricing or actuarial software e.g. Radar, Emblem, ResQ or data analysis tools such as SAS, Python, R, SQL, Excel, VBA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong working relationships with the other pricing actuarial analysts and underwriters.
• Provide pricing support across multiple lines of business.
• Assist in the development and deployment of pricing models.
• Assist with the parameterisation of the internal model.
• Utilise knowledge of the market to successfully adapt pricing techniques.
• Ability to simply complex topics and communicate findings to colleagues and senior stakeholders.

 
From you they are looking:

• Part/nearly/newly qualified actuarial analyst.
• Actuarial analyst experience in general insurance.
• A numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
• It would be desirable if you had experience of using pricing or actuarial software e.g. Radar, Emblem, ResQ and/or data analysis tools such as SAS, Python, R, SQL, Excel, VBA.
