As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in their pricing strategies, underwriting referrals process, and portfolio profitability initiatives.
Working alongside experienced market-leading underwriters and analysts, you will have the unique opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the growth of our young and dynamic organization. This insurer specialises in alternative insurance risk solutions, binders, and portfolio deals, covering niche and specialist business lines with limited catastrophe exposure.
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will collaborate with other analysts to develop pricing models using your statistical expertise. Your responsibilities will include providing technical loss picks for new and renewal accounts, researching industry trends, and analysing data related to bound risks. You will work closely with the actuarial manager to identify opportunities to enhance the insurers profitability.
In this role, you will have exposure to all aspects of the underwriting life-cycle, and your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the success of our growing organization. Effective communication skills are essential as you will regularly present your work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
While actuarial exam study is not a requirement, full study support for relevant qualifications such as FIA and CII are provided. The office is located in the City of London, with options for remote work.
