Pricing Analyst (Personal Lines) - Technical Modelling

Pricing Analyst: £40,000 - £45,000
(Personal Lines)

Arthur Financial are seeking a pricing analyst to join the technical modelling team of a well-established insurer.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge of pricing analysis and technical model building and development of risk models in a highly respected, progressive, and forward-thinking environment, with regular exposure to senior colleagues.
 
Responsibilities:

• Support the development and building of the internal pricing model.
• Contribute to the development of the internal modelling roadmap.
• Contribute to the profitability of products by meeting loss ratio targets
• Build effective working relationships with co-workers in the risk, portfolio management and underwriting teams.

 
From you they are looking:

• A Bachelors or Masters in a numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
• Knowledge of (some) UK Personal Lines Insurance markets (desirable)
• Proficiency in Radar and Emblem (desirable), SAS, R, Python (beneficial).
