Product Underwriting Quality Manager

Arthur has partnered with a global insurance company that is seeking a Product Underwriting Quality Manager.
 
This position will support the International Chief Underwriting Officer and support by managing product and quality oversight within the underwriting control framework.  You will collaborate with divisional business leaders to develop international products and overseeing daily underwriting governance activities.
 
Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and authority documentation, provide internal training, and collaborate with peers and the underwriting community.
• Work closely with the International Chief Underwriting Officer and senior leaders to identify trends and recommend product improvements.
• Support pricing and portfolio segmentation, contribute to key business initiatives, and maintain cross-functional relationships for problem-solving and execution.
• Analyse competitors' strategies to drive profitable business, assist in maintaining policy forms and endorsement libraries, and ensure products remain competitive, profitable, and compliant.
• Conduct continuous research of the competitive landscape and industry metrics to guide recommendations for new product opportunities and strategies.

 
To be considered, candidates must have a background in underwriting governance and controls, along with experience in the international marketplace, including London Markets and Lloyd's.
 
You must have robust stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration to foster partnerships that deliver desired outcomes.
