A global specialty insurance services provider is seeking a Project Manager with specialty insurance experience to lead and deliver key change, growth, and transformation initiatives across a diverse portfolio.
You will manage project delivery end-to-end, ensuring clear scope, planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and drive projects to successful delivery, managing scope, objectives, and timelines.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation, and budgets.
Assess change impact, readiness, and key stakeholder needs.
Act as central coordinator, communicating transparently with insurance stakeholders and external partners. (claims, underwriting, actuarial teams etc)
Identify, document, and mitigate risks and issues.
Facilitate collaboration across teams and lead meetings/workshops with senior leaders.
Monitor progress, report status, and ensure high-quality documentation aligned to governance standards.
Comply with regulatory conduct rules, promoting integrity and fair treatment of customers.
Required Experience & Skills:
Proven track record managing complex business or transformational projects within specialty insurance markets.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid).
Excellent stakeholder management, with experience influencing decision-making at senior/executive levels.
Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of business analysis and data security/privacy in insurance.
Office location: Manchester Hybrid role: 2 days in the office
