As a Risk Analyst, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the implementation of the Risk Management Framework within the first line of defence. This initiative aims to enhance risk management practices, ensuring they align closely with corporate objectives. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals and report directly to the head of risk.
Responsibilities:
Regularly generate essential risk information for both internal and external stakeholders, including the Board and Risk Committees.
Assist the risk management team in executing analyses and strategic initiatives.
Contribute to the development of plans for the annual and quarterly Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process.
Prepare templates to support analytic efforts.
Oversee data requests and their receipt, providing consistent status updates.
Aid in the collection of risk metrics and related reporting for pertinent risk committees.
Support the Risk Management team in delivering critical regulatory Management Information (MI), including the annual statutory report and accounts, as well as compliance with Lloyd’s Oversight Principles.
Additional Duties:
Assist the Risk team as needed with tasks related to climate and sustainability, risk metrics and appetites, risk assessments, controls, and reporting.
Aid in the design and execution of scenario testing for ORSA, validation, and regulatory stress testing purposes.
Demonstrate strong analytic and critical thinking abilities.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment and maintenance of robust and effective working relationships.
