Reinsurance Claims Adjuster

Arthur is delighted to be working with a leading global insurance and reinsurance company who are looking to further develop their London market Claims team by bringing on board a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster.
 
An exciting opportunity has emerged to join the business’ European claims team, which offers the chance for you manage a diverse portfolio of Reinsurance claims across various lines of business including motor, property & casualty, life, accident & health, and credit & surety. Additionally, the role involves engaging in external client-facing work, building relationships, analysing account performance, participating in client visits, and working closely with clients.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will analyse initial claim notifications, including verifying coverage and conducting associated checks for excess of loss contracts across various lines of business.
• Maintain electronic claims files and ensure accuracy of reserve bookings and payments following the authority matrix.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and risk control frameworks in all claim processing activities.
• Act as a point of contact for brokers and clients, addressing claim queries, anomalies, and general account management matters.
• Participate in the claims audit program, involving both onsite and remote meetings, with some travel required for this role.

What You Need:

• Must have experience of UK Motor claims along with P&C (Bonus points for credit and surety claims)
• Extensive experience within the Claims Market
• Attitude and willingness to learn is key
• Committed to DIP CII or ACII qualifications is desirable
• Be willing to travel
