A leading Lloyd's market Reinsurer are currently recruiting for a talented individual with an accounting background to join in a unique role where you are responsible for technical quarter closing activities and reporting analysis for reinsurance activities.
You will be part of a brilliant technical international team and involved in the analysis and monitoring of complex transactions and will reporting directly to the Head of the division based overseas. Your responsibilities will include;
Analysis of technical results for complex transactions and special deals.
Ensure the accurate logging on adjustments for regulatory close (IFRS and EBS)
Provide variance analysis of technical results
Quarterly reporting under IFRS 17, Solvency II and Local GAAP
Prepare accounting presentations and memos for close packs and deliverables
Ensure data within the accounting system maintains accurate
Build, develop and maintain strong internal relationships with stakeholders
You must have;
Proven experience working in Reinsurance
Strong accounting skills
Knoledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II reporting
Highly analytical thinker and detail orientated
Energetic, self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills
Salary on offer is up to £65k + benefits, bonus and hybrid working.
