As a Risk Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day risk management processes to support the delivery of the Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA), Risk and Control Assessment Framework, Emerging risks & Loss Event frameworks, Risk Reporting, and Governance processes for Atrium.
 
This role also welcomes recent graduates with a strong interest in Risk Management and completion of an internship or course in insurance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Leading the support for the ORSA processes and reporting.
  • Taking charge of the Risk and Control Registers, Loss Events & Emerging Risks Logs.
  • Contributing to the seamless operation of Atrium's risk governance processes, including the preparation of meeting papers, attending committees, and taking minutes.
  • Overseeing the Risk Smart risk management system.
  • Providing support for wider Risk Management projects and deliverables as required.
  • Assisting the Risk Management team in ensuring adherence to Lloyd’s Principles for doing business.
  • Contributing to the process of monitoring Atrium’s Risk Appetites and escalating breaches as necessary.
  • Collaborating with the wider business to further embed a positive risk culture.

 
Requirements:
 

  • 1-2 years’ experience as a Risk Analyst with an Insurance background.
  • Strong academic grades, ideally with a mathematics background.
  • Completion of an internship or course in Insurance risk.
  • Ability to uphold commitments to colleagues.
  • Willingness to offer constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Capacity to work independently and take responsibility for own actions and workload.
  • Proficiency in building relationships internally and with clients.
